Warning Sign That You're working with Fake or Wrong Movers

Moving is difficult. whether is small movers, house movers or Office Movers.  It makes us emotional and induces and escalate our anxiety further. The last thing you need is scam movers, which tend to crop up during your search for professional movers.

There are some things, however, that you can do to make sure you do not get stuck with a fake mover:

Not Registered

Every moving company is registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Admission. This means that you cannot trust "a random guy with a van" situation because the FMCSA will not be able to help if something happens to your things.

Ratings and Reviews

Whenever you come across a moving company, make sure that you check out their rating and reviews on Better Business Bureau. Look through all the complaints and testimonials made by customers who have used their services. A lot of complaints are a red flag, and you would have to move on.

They Won't Give You An Estimate

Every mover will give you an estimate of how much your move will cost. This will be provided once they visit your house, look at your belongings, and estimate how much time it would take to pack and move. If they fail to give you this amount after looking through your home, then you might have a scammer on your hands.
